Mathematical Modelling of Single Glazed and Double Glazed Solar Air Heater

This paper focuses on Mathematical Modelling of Single Glazed and Double Solar air heater (SAH) which is special kind heat exchanger that transfers thermal energy from the solar radiation to fluid flowing inside collector. The most potential applications SAH supply hot for heating buildings, maintain a comfortable environment especially in winter season, preheating, desiccant refrigeration, drying vegetables, fruits, meat, textile marine products. intensity less morning increase gradually till noon again decrease evening. During simulations it observed gain directly proportional mass flow rate. It maximum counter least transpired heater. efficiency SAH, useful increases highest clear days summer month particularly April-May lowest cloudy December. results are conformation with theoretical aspects.
